Snuggly Squirrels

This family of squirrels lives in a hole in the tree of my backyard. I watched their antics all winter, and always loved when two of them would try to stick their heads out of the hole at the same time. When spring arrived, and the green colors returned, I sat out back in my blind and took several series of photos of their various antics. This photo, with its homey, cozy feel, ended up being my favorite.
